Five Powerful Tips for Making Connections at GPC 2010 PDF Print E-mail

Statistics indicate that firms attending conferences are able to generate more and lower cost leads than connecting with prospects face-to-face over a period of time.  To enjoy this kind of benefit and generate a good return on investment, consider the following (5) suggestions.

To assist your firm’s success in achieving set GPC 2010 conference goals:

  • Sign-up early for Face-to-Face session with a targeted agency or prime
  • Participate in Industry Forums and post forum networking
  • Review list of speakers and sponsors and identify where you can meet them.  If speaker or sponsor is on a workshop panel, then go to that workshop, be visible, ask questions and make contact once workshop is finished
  • Attend Awards Luncheon.  Realize your main objective is to make contact so scour the banquet room and reach out to the person or persons you want to meet.
  • Ask for help.  See our On-site Coaches and ask them “Who do they know from xyz organization that is attending GPC?
